Students at The Magna Carta School have the right rich, deep learning experiences that balance all the aspects of computing. With technology playing such a significant role in society today, we believe ‘Computational thinking’ is a skill children must be taught if they are to be able to participate effectively and safely in this digital world. A high-quality computing education equips students to use creativity to understand and change the world.
The computing curriculum is designed to equip students with computational thinking and problem-solving abilities. This will enable them to be successful in their future careers. It also develops their knowledge, skills and understanding through exposure to key computational concepts. The curriculum ensure that students have sufficient knowledge to stay safe online, understanding how computers work and be confident when using them.
